Why espadrilles?
Espadrilles are a casual, comfortable shoe that can be dressed up or down with ease. They've been around for centuries and as trends come and go, they remain a classic that will never go out of style. The possibilities for design are endless, and the ribbon ankle ties add that extra spark to the overall look and feel of the shoe. All Ann Roth Shoes have padded insoles, canvas uppers and heel cup, jute soles with a rubber bottom, and a 3-inch heel. They are available in whole sizes only.
What makes Ann Roth Shoes so unique?
Each pair of Ann Roth Shoes can be customized so that your pair is unlike anyone else's. No two pairs are exactly alike! The fabric is carefully selected for each pair. Ribbon, trim, and embellishments are then added to give each pair their unique, personalized style. What options do I have for Custom Designs?
You have three basic options for Custom Designs:
- Customize a pair from our Current Collection. For example, you can request different fabric or ribbon color, or request different embellishments.
- Choose a fabric from our Fabric Gallery and add any special requests for ribbon color or embellishments.
- Start "from scratch" by describing what you are looking for. We will find the fabric and ribbon that most closely match your request.

I just want a simple pair of shoes in a basic color. Would this be considered a custom design? How are the prices determined?
Our Custom Design pricing is based on several factors, including the time spent finding the right fabric, designing the shoe, and making any requested changes to the design. Therefore, Custom Designs are slightly more expensive than our current collection, which is priced according to the materials and intricacy of each design, as well as the time it takes to create each pair. See Custom Designs for more information.
I'm not sure what size to order. What do you suggest?
Ann Roth Shoes come in whole European sizes. Please see our sizing chart below for a reference. If you still have specific questions about sizing, please contact us and we'll be glad to help in any way we can.

Can I return my shoes if they don't fit or I don't like them?
We want you to love your Ann Roth Shoes! If you receive your order and are unhappy with your shoes for any reason, you may exchange them within 7 business days for a one-time online shopping credit equal to the purchase amount. Shoes must be unworn, in original box with tissue and ribbons. You will need to pay for the return shipping, but we will take care of the shipping back to you for your replacement order. Only one exchange credit can be given per pair of shoes ordered. Since each pair is made-to-order, we cannot offer refunds.
I have my own fabric I'd like to use. Can I send it to you?
At this time, we can only create shoes from the fabrics we aquire through our vendors. Due to certain licensing restrictions, and because we require specific material and measurements, we cannot accept fabric from any outside sources. However, if you see a fabric that you think would make a great pair of shoes, feel free to include a picture or description of it with your custom order, and we will do our best to find it from our vendor sources.
I'd like a pair of shoes with my school's mascot and colors. Can you do that? Or can you make a pair of shoes with a popular cartoon character?
Because of certain licensing agreements, Ann Roth Shoes can only use designs and images that are not prohibited by copyright law. This is a very circumstantial area, so please contact us with any specific questions regarding trademarked or copyrighted images, and we'll let you know what we can do.
